June-August 2022, I got to be apart of the first inaugural class of the NBAxHBCU Fellowship. During the 10 week program, I worked with Creative Services and had the opportunity to assist with some real time projects that were utilized during my 10 week internship. Other projects for the 76th season of the league were developed but some would be utilized after my time with the NBA Internship.
End Cards (WNBA)
End-cards are cards that display at the end of commercials advertising different games that will be on air. The WNBA usually produces 30 second commercials and the end-card would be displayed at the end of the sequence. They include the teams, the channel, the time of the game and of course the WNBA logo along with the theme for the month if there is one applicable.
WNBA All Star Weekend Credential
This design was for the WNBA All Star 2022 Credential. Credentials were used by players and staff to provide authentication into various sites. I designed these in Illustrator/Indesign and there were 4 different access colors that allowed players and staff to have different levels of access.
Presentation Graphics for Abu Dhabi Games 2022
As we all know presentations are a great way to effectively communicate various ideas. I had the chance to create a presentation template that was used for Corporate Services to present their ideas to personals from Abu Dhabi for the 2 pre-season games that included the Atlanta Hawk and Milwaukee Bucks.
NBA 76th season Ad Ideas
The NBA produces various ads that get ran throughout the year. The goal was to re-create their "Hoop Ad", one of their more simple ads. I presented 5 ideas that I thought the audience could enjoy.
NBA Draft 2022
These table cards were used for the NBA Draft 2022 that took place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. These headshots were used to be placed on the tables of Draftees, so the draftees would recognize where their seating was.
